There are 21 community transport
schemes financially supported
by Lancashire County Council.

Dial-a-Bus and Dial-a-Ride services
provide door-to-door facilities
using minibus equipped with
low steps and lifts so
that people who find it difficult
or impossible to use steps or are
wheelchair uses can get in and
out easliy.

Community Cars services are
developed primarily in rural
areas where demand is sparse
and irregular. They are designed
to provide a service for anyone
in the area who is unable to
reasonably use conventional
services regardless of disability.
